After an unsuccessful cold morning scouring Derwent Reservoir for a shot which summed up the wet Autumn morning. On the verge of giving up I was walking out back to my car when I heard the running of water coming from above. I climbed up the wet and muddy bank and found a small stream coming out of the bank and disappearing back from within. I quickly grabbed my tripod and using the dark light of the cold morning lowered my shutter speed and captured this image. It has always been one of my favourite images. The autumnal colours of the leaves holds the moment and tells the story of the season.
