The Black and White Rockies
Black and White photography is always close to my heart and when you combine that love with the Canadian Rockies something magical happens.
An amazing and dramatic moment as the light burst though the clouds on to the Waterton National Park mountain ranges. I loved this moment so much you can also find it it my portfolio
A late evening at Vermilion Lakes in Banff National. The dock is covered in a layer of frost from the cold winter weather while a left over glove remains from the days play.
A river winds though the Rocky Mountains with low cloud shrouding the peaks.

At Mistaya Falls the winter melt is in full flow. The water powers down the waterfall creating a spa like look to the water below. This is one spa I would not want to jump in though.
After an early morning hike to the top of Whistlers Peak the views were spectacular especially when the light burst though the clouds and shards of light lit up Jasper National park.
MIstaya Falls is a magical place, with a beautiful powerful waterfall with a stunning mountain backdrop. In this image the waterfall has frozen in -40 degree temperatures and it has now been covered by a layer of deep snow.
As the rivers laid lows in the midst of a warm summer in the Rockies a heart shaped island left behind. Ok the huge glacier mountains add to this image also:-)
