Three Sisters, Canmore
Sometimes you have to visit a location on multiple occasions to get the right conditions and the amazing colours. This was my first visit to this location and by good luck only the conditions were amazing. As the sun rose the skies lit up and the Three Sisters put on a subtle but amazing display.
Sunrise at Castle Mountain, Banff National Park
I was searching for a compositions to capture this amazing sunrise at Castle Mountain when I noticed ice crystals formed on the frozen river. To take this shot I had to lay on the ice in -40 degree conditions. The image was worth every shiver.
Sunrise at Skegness Pier, East Coast of England
In the summer months the Skegness Pier is bustling with activity however, through Fall and Winter the tourists have gone home and the Pier and the seaside activities lay dormant waiting for their return. Here you can see the warmth of the Winter morning sun on the frost covered wooden pier deck.
Coastal Rocks
After a storm had cleared the ocean was eerily calm just gentle waves working there way around the rocks. Suddenly the clouds parted and a single strip of light made its way across the sky.
Elliston Storm
What started a day trying to capture the majestic puffins on the East Coast of Canada quickly turned into chaos as a sudden storm came in. Whilst most ran for the cars I grabbed another lens and managed to capture this image
Police Point Park Sunset
Since 2017 I have been living in Medicine Hat, Alberta and have frequented Police Point Park, a local nature area on many occasions searching for images. I can honestly say, I have never seen a sunset like this at this location! The river was eerily calm and the sky was the same way so I was not expecting anything…..well when the sun went down and the skies came alive. I stood there in awe has I manage to capture this image.

The Flow of Fall
On a wet and windy day in England I was not expecting to get an image….I had travelled 4 hours in the car hiked for hours and had given up. I was heading back to my vehicle and I heard water above me… I climbed the hill and found a stream coming out of the hill and disappearing again… needless to say I was a very happy photographer finding one of my favourite images ever taken.
Swans in the Mist
For a long time I had an image in my head of an image I wanted…. 2 swans gliding through the mist. Every time I walked past rivers and lakes I was always on the lookout but for years no avail. In 2015, Hartsholme Park, Lincoln it all changed. I am surprised I managed to capture this image as I had to work quickly to capture this image. Needless to say I was pretty happy to get the image back home to see it had turned out ok.
A View of Fall
I love Fall, the colours are always incredible and still to day its one of my favourite seasons for photography. As I walked through woodland on a Fall afternoon hearing the crunch of the freshly fallen leaves I came across this scene. I could have stood there for hours in wonder at the light, the colours and the moment.
The Rising Sun
Light on the Wolds
Dramatic light on a stormy morning on the Lincolnshire Wolds, England
Waterton Dreams
An amazing and dramatic moment as the light burst though the clouds on to the Waterton National Park mountain ranges.
Wintery Mıstaya
MIstaya Falls is a magical place, with a beautiful powerful waterfall with a stunning mountain backdrop. In this image the waterfall has frozen in -40 degree temperatures and it has now been covered by a layer of deep snow.
